taxpayers proposed to be enhanced from `1, 80,000 to `2, 00,000 giving tax
relief of`2,000.****

raised from `8 lakh to `10 lakh.****

**[image: *] **Proposal to allow individual tax payers, a deduction of
up to `10,000 for interest from savings bank accounts.****

preventive health check up.****

**[image: *] **Turnover limit for compulsory tax audit of account and
presumptive taxation of SMEs to be raised from `60 lakhs to `1 crore.****

property, if sale consideration is used for subscription in equity of a
manufacturing SME for purchase of new plant and machinery.****

A Day at SOM with Mr.Gowri Shankar: Alumnus and President of Alumni Association,School of Management ,NIT Warangal on 15/02/2012

A very inspiring and learning time was experienced by everyone, today at SOM.Our Alumnus and President of Alumni Association,School of Management ,NIT Warangal, Mr.Gowri Shankar was here at SOM,NIT Warangal on a short visit to the campus and also to spend some time with the SOM family. He was glad to spend a good time with all the students at SOM and also share his experiences ,as well encouraged an interactive session.It was good to see students discussing with him about life, career,motivation etc. It is always an amazing experience to meet our Alumni and its a great opportunity for all of us to meet here at SOM and share our experiences where learning and growth goes hand in hand.Thank you Sir for your precious time.
